The Landscape Institute is the Royal Chartered body for landscape architects in the UK. We have about 5,000 members who work across a range of organisations such as local authorities, government agencies and private practice. They are involved in a broad range of tasks including masterplanning, environmental assessment, public consultation and design. The Institute provides services to assist members including support and promotion of the work of landscape architects; information and guidance to the public and industry about the specific expertise offered by those in the profession; and training and educational advice to students and professionals looking to build upon their experience. The Northern Ireland Branch is responsible for representing the professional membership within Northern Ireland. The purpose of this site is to provide information on landscape architecture in Northern Ireland including events, news, practice information, membership and continuing professional development as well as providing a forum for discussion for its members, clients and associated professionals.
